The product didn’t work for my pet, what should I do?Updated 8 hours ago
We understand how important it is to keep your pet protected from fleas, ticks, and worms, and it can be frustrating if you feel a product isn’t working as expected. Here are a few important things to keep in mind:
Vet-Grade Products: All the flea, tick, and worming treatments we stock (chews, tablets, and topical treatments) are sourced from reputable suppliers and veterinary-grade brands. We are a stockist only, and cannot alter the way these products are formulated or how they work.
Consistency & Dosage: These treatments are carefully tested to be effective, but consistency is key. Missing a dose, giving the wrong dosage for your pet’s weight, switching between different brands, or not applying/administering the product correctly can all affect results.
Same Products, Different Branding: Some flea, tick, and worming products are sold under different brand names (for example, Revolution and Stronghold), but they contain the same active ingredients and formulas. Their effectiveness is identical regardless of packaging. If it seems like one “version” worked better than another, the difference is usually due to dosing, timing, application, or environmental reinfestation—not the product itself.
Environmental Factors: Flea and tick infestations can be influenced by your pet’s surroundings. For example, if fleas are present in your home or yard, additional treatment of the environment may be required alongside using preventatives on your pet.
Vet Guidance: Every pet is unique, and some may respond better to certain products than others. For tailored advice, we always recommend consulting your veterinarian, who can recommend the best prevention or treatment plan for your specific pet.
